Our Open House in Elmira
The renovations for our Elmira office were finally finished this year and on Friday, August 7th, we invited the community of Elmira to join us in celebration. Throughout the day, over 1,000 people came out to our free BBQ of Stemmler’s hot dogs and Sausages, enjoyed gelato provided by Gina Ruttan’s Fro.Zen Gelato Trolley and shared blue smiles after eating cupcakes provided by Foodland.

We welcomed Mayor Sandy Schmidt who helped us cut the ribbon to our new workspace, and were able to present our new community wall which acts as a “show and tell” for the ways that our employees support our community.

Our staff was excited to take clients and community members through tours of the new office and show off all of the neat features of the new office including our Smartboard! We were also excited to show off how not-for-profit groups can now use the space for local events such as the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival.

Our Josslin smile tattoos and smile face balloons were a hit with the kids and the balloons could be seen floating all around downtown Elmira on the wrists of many of our visitors. After a week of anticipation we finally opened up the Blue Umbrellas in the alley by our office to create a cheerful canopy of blue shade from the hot sun that caught many people’s eye.

If you didn’t have a chance to come out to our open house we invite you to stop on by for a tour of our new office!
