Personal Umbrella Liability

Provides excess liability coverage over the property, autos, recreational vehicles and related watercraft. It also provides coverage for additional perils which may not be included in regular property liability. It also extends territorial limits.

Qualifications
Offered as an extension of an existing property policy.

Required by law
Not required by law, but may be required to satisfy lender requirements or contractual obligations

Things that can be covered
coverage such as libel, slander, false arrest, defamation of character, invasion of rights of privacy, liability assumed under some contracts and liability occurred as the result of volunteer work in a non-profit organization.

Premiums based on
Limits of coverage on existing home and auto policy, claims history and excess limit requested.
