Equipment Breakdown Insurance

Designed specifically to protect the manufacturing industry to protect against loss or damage due to sudden and accidental breakdown of equipment. Can be offered as part of a Manufacturer’s insurance package, or as a stand-alone policy.

Qualifications
3-years business or related experience preferred, acceptable claims history, physical premises must be well maintained.

Required by law
Not required by law, but may be required to satisfy lender requirements or contractual obligations.

Things that can be covered
Sudden and accidental breakdown of heating, refrigerating and air conditioning equipment, pressure vessels and boilers, production machinery, electrical apparatus and electronic equipment.

Premiums based on
Property premiums are rated on the limit of coverage required and the type of building construction and machinery.  Liability premiums are  based on a combination of annual revenue, and the limit of coverage provided. Type of Operation, scale of operation will also be factors.
